Beverly Allen-Crain and Many Dixon Owners of Hand and Occupational Therapy

Members Beverly Allen-Crain and Mandy Dixon, owners of the brand new Hand and Occupational Therapy Center in Montgomery, are both occupational therapists and big fans of MAX. Beverly is also a nationally certified hand therapist. "We have both been members of MAX for years and were so happy with MAX that when we opened our business, we never thought about going anywhere else," said Mandy. "Everyone at MAX has been very friendly, helpful and professional." The Hand and Occupational Therapy Center on Vaughn Road is the only therapy center in Central Alabama specializing in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation (hands, wrists, arms, elbows and shoulders).

"Robin Burkett, MAX's Business Services Private Consultant, sent us a hand-written thank you note after she first contacted us. We thought that was such a nice, personal touch. We have been very impressed with the level of personalized attention MAX has given us throughout this process," Beverly said. MAX's Business Checking and Merchant Services played an important role in opening their new office so they could begin providing services to patients and receiving payments by credit or debit card immediately.

A variety of tools are used by Hand and Occupational Therapy for outpatient treatment.

The Center provides outpatient therapy services for patients recovering from surgery, carpal tunnel syndrome, injuries, arthritis and many other conditions. Each patient's therapy program is individualized based on their problems and limitations, but may include decreasing pain and swelling, increasing motion, restoring strength and flexibility, splinting, and improving overall function of hands and arms. Patients are referred to them by physicians and chiropractors. "Our past and present experiences at MAX have proven to us that MAX is reliable and trustworthy, thereby instilling a high level of confidence and peace of mind," stated Beverly. "This allows us to focus on taking care of our patients. It is an added bonus that MAX is in so many convenient locations," she said.
